Adults-Only Boutique Stay

The JEWEL and the LAKE is an adults-only B&B, welcoming a maximum of two guests per room. Guests are invited to enjoy the terrace, garden, living room and dining area until 10:00 PM. Quiet hours apply between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, with complete silence from 10:30 PM onwards. Parties are not permitted.

House Tradition – Shoes Off

In respect of local tradition and to maintain a clean and serene indoor environment, we kindly ask all guests to remove their shoes when entering the house. Complimentary slippers are provided for your comfort.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Enjoy it in our dining room, on the deck, or in the garden overlooking Lake Victoria. Early breakfast before 8:00 AM is available upon request at an additional charge of UGX 10,000 per person. This surcharge directly supports our staff for the extra early service.

After submitting your request:

  • We confirm availability by email

  • You receive a secure payment link

  • A 50% deposit confirms your reservation

  • The remaining balance is due upon arrival

Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 2:00 PM – 9:30 PM Check-out: until 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be requested (subject to availability). Please inform us in advance if you expect a late arrival. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out.

Location & Transfers

The JEWEL and the LAKE is located in a quiet residential area of Jinja overlooking Lake Victoria. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request during booking. Free private parking is available on site.

Our property is fully fenced and protected with:

Wi-Fi

Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and throughout the garden.

Smoking & Pets

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms. A designated smoking area is available on the deck in the garden. Pets are not allowed.

Payment Fees

For online or remote payments (Pesapal, Mobile Money, card), an administrative fee of UGX 5,000 applies.Payments made at the property are free of charge.
